ITANAGAR, Oct 3: The Theravada Buddhist Society mourned the sad demise of Chau Nandia Khen, one of the respected elder members of the society who passed away this morning at his Namsai residence after a prolonged illness.
The Chairman of the Society, C. D. Mungyak in his condolence message has expressed deep shock and disbelief. He said that, in his death the society has lost one of its dedicated and devoted person. He will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives he touched in so many different ways. Today is indeed a sad day for the entire Theravada Society. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
