Roing, Jan 19: MLA Gum Tayeng today inaugurated the Anpum- Loklung log bridge in Paglam circle in the presence of ADC Rujjum Rakshap, public leaders and public of the area. The 100 meters(approx.) long log bridge will connect Anpum to Loklung, Keba, Banggo and Paglam areas, reduce travel time and ease the movement of the public of the area.
Gum Tayeng, inspecting the bridge, appreciated the efforts and initiative of the public of the area in constructing the log bridge, which is funded under MLALAD.
The MLA also inspected the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Anpum and the arrangements made for the Pulse Polio Immunisation Day.
Replying to the memorandum submitted by the people of Anpum for infrastructure development of the PHC, she promised to take up the matter and requested the people to first identify a suitable site for permanent infrastructure development. DIPRO
