Roing, Jul 1: A review meeting to discuss the ongoing and proposed development works for the Dambuk assembly constituency was held today in the presence of MLA Gum Tayeng, DC Mitali Namchoom(IAS), ADC (Dambuk) Rujjum Rakshap, heads of departments and administrative officers.
MLA Gum Tayeng, speaking during the meeting, said that such meetings are essential to keep oneself apprised of the work going on in the area and also to review the status of ongoing works from time to time. 
She enjoined all to propose projects that are beneficial for the public of the place and assured to pursue with the government for the inclusion of the projects in the Budget of 2019-20.
DC Mitali Namchoom requested all the department heads to coordinate with each other and ensure non duplication in schemes across departments. She also requested all the works departments to keep the beneficiary departments and the administrative officers informed, so that all projects can be implemented properly and on time.
Along with discussing the ongoing and proposed development works, issues like problems being faced in the area by the departments, land procurement etc too were discussed. DIPRO
