TAWANG, Jul 8: With an aim to bring quality education in the district, a three day block wise teachers Coordination-cum-Interaction meeting was conducted at all blocks of Tawang district. After detailed discussion, the teachers resolved to implement Arun Board Examination for Class-V and Class-VIII and conduct the same centrally in suitable locations of different blocks.

Further, as advised by MLA Tawang Tsering Tashi during a meeting held last month, examination of Class-III, IV, VI and VII would also be conducted centrally on similar lines with the Arun Board and that remedial classes would be taken for the required classes and students. The MLA had opined that centralised examination would give level playing field to the students and would extract maximum potential.

Steps to be taken for effective implementation of Mid Day Meal Scheme in schools was also discussed at length. Incharge DDSE Hridhar Phuntso was accompanied by BEO(HQ) Dondup, APO Sangey Wangchu and others.
