Tawang, Apr 29: An app developed by the Tawang District Administration to ease the process of online registration of persons entering the district post lockdown was launched by Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok on Wednesday here at his office chamber.
This app will be useful in online registration of those returning to Tawang district after the current lockdown ends and the officials at entry gate will fill up details of the returnees on this app which will be directly fed to the server installed in district headquarters, enabling the officials there to have a direct and detailed information about them. With this, Tawang DA has taken a step forward towards enhanced digitization of official works which is expected to minimize staff requirement for collection of information. Also, the said real-time information will help the District Emergency Operation Centre (DEOC) as and when necessary.
The DA is planning to share this app with the officials manning the Jang check gate, where details of every person entering Tawang were hitherto done manually and the app will also enable other administrative centres and sub-divisions of the district to share information directly with district headquarters.
DC launched the app in presence of ADC Lobsang Tsering, DDMO Tsangpa Tashi and other officials. DIPRO
