TAWANG, Jun 7: Tawang Police detected 15 Inner Line Permit violators during intensive checking in and around Tawang town today. Three cases have been registered in this regard and legal action is being taken against the violators. Superintendent of Police, M Harsha Vardhan stated that police have integrated vehicle and ILP checking which is yielding good results. About rupees 1.5 lakh was collected as penalty for traffic violations in Tawang district during the month of May. Tawang Police has strictly advised all residents and visitors to follow traffic rules. Employers have also been advised to ensure ILP compliance with regards to workforce hailing from outside the state.
