Tawang, Feb 17: The 20th Sarkar Apke Dwar (SAD) cum Jan Sunwai camp was conducted today by the District Administration at Government Primary School Yubu-Paikhar under Tawang Circle.
The camp was inaugurated by EAC Tawang Rinchen Leta in presence of CO Tawang Tsering Chedon.
EAC felicitated the school toppers of the Government Primary School of Yubu-Paikhar and distributed seed treatment drums, water pipes and vegetable seeds to the villagers through Gaon Burahs and visited Yubu, Paikhar and Dharmakang villages accompanied with other officials.
As a part of SAD, villagers were enrolled under CMAAY, Old Age Pension, Aadhaar etc along with issuance of ST/PRC/Birth Certificate/Driving License and Marriage Registration.
A total of 7 marriages were registered by the Marriage Registration Officer while 15 new driving licences were issued by the District Transport Officer. Villagers were also given awareness on various welfare schemes of the government, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and on health & hygiene. DIPRO
