TAWANG, Nov 12: The 12 hour dawn-to-dusk Tawang Bandh called Operation Clean Drive under the banner of All Tawang District Students’ Union came to an end without any untoward incident. In the district headquarters, the members of operation clean drive also didn’t create any problem and let the students going to school attend their classes, a few tourist vehicles were also plying without any hindrance. Interestingly in few locations people were carrying out cleanliness drive. Schools, government offices and banks were functioning normally however shopkeepers in all the three headquarters kept their shops closed.  There was not a single report of stone pelting or burning of tyres. As per reports from Lungla and Jang administrative headquarters all the school, government office, financial institutions functioned normally. The district administration alongwith security forces STF,SSB,CRPF,ITBP, and state police undertook patrolling of every nook and corner and kept  vigil.
