PASIGHAT, Dec 3: In a new political arena of 32nd Rumgong Assembly Constituency in Siang district, retired Commissioner, Tahang Taggu has officially announced his entry into politics and declared his candidature to contest the ensuing 2019 Assembly election.
As per press release issued by Taggu’s party fold, the candidate declaration ceremony was held at his native village, Yogong under Rumgong constituency in Siang district recently.
In his address, Taggu attributed the lack of political will from successive representatives as reason behind the low developmental activities in the area.
Taggu also solemnly affirmed the gathering that his candidature assures; equal developmental growth with priority to under developed villages, improvement of healthcare and education etc.
