ITANAGAR, May 21: The prestigious Luminous Lummer Dai Literary Award-2019, of the Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society, will be conferred to Tagang Taki, one of the pioneer writers from the then NEFA now Arunachal Pradesh and a great social worker. He wrote the famous drama, Border Ame in Adi language during sixty’s and many other books both in Adi and Assamese.
The award consists of a plaque designed by Biren Singha, a sculptor of North East, a cash amount of Rs 10,000, and a citation. The award will be given on the occasion of Late Lummer Dai’s 79th birth anniversary to be celebrated on the June 1 next. ES Newsdesk
