Wishing Happy Nyokum Yullo to all, he called upon the people to preserve, promote and maintain one’s own rich traditional and cultural heritage, social values and belief system handed down from generations to generations that are our true identity.
He also emphasized the need for maintaining peace and tranquility in the boundary areas, and restraint from petty incidents which sometimes strains relationships between people living in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam boundary areas. Culture, festivals connect, and celebrating together would bring more trust and confidence amongst the people, Tagak opined.
He appealed to all to resolve to be a good human being, discharge its basic duties and responsibilities as a responsible citizen and contribute to the growth and development of the state as the government alone cannot do everything for our needs and requirements. Various social welfare schemes and programmes are launched by the government from time to time and people should avail benefits of especially Aatma Nirbhar schemes of various departments and agencies, Tagak said.
