ITANAGAR, Oct 8:  Days after 32- Rumgong Intellectual Forum  levelled allegation against Power Minister Tamiyo Taga for nepotism and hijacking  various development projects in his constituency, Taging Taga, his son refuted all allegations terming it baseless and without an iota of truth.
Addressing the reporters at Press Club, Taging Taga served a 10 days ultimatum to the Forum to prove the allegation levelled against him for hijacking various tenders without flouting NITs failing which he has threatened to slap defamation suit. “I am a registered contractor and had participated in various tender processes, so there is no such thing as nepotism” he said.
While responding to query regarding allegedly shifting the Indoor Stadium at Patum village to the residential compound of his father and Power Minister, Taging clarified that the locals were reluctant to donate land for the stadium, so the Minister voluntarily donated his private land.
Shielding the local MLA cum Minister Power, Mandal President 32nd Rumgong, opined that all allegations against the Minister is baseless . “Everyone knows how discipline and straight forward Tamiyo Taga is; the allegations against the senior  leader is baseless and a vendetta to tarnish his image,” added BJP Mandal President.
