CHANGLANG, Nov 23: In his maiden visit to the district, Minister for Power, Industries, Textiles & Handicrafts , Tamiyo Taga inaugurated various developmental projects which include Office of the Circle Officer, Yatdam, New Power Division Office, Multipurpose Hall and Inspection Bungalow being funded under SPA & DoTCL and executed by PWD & RWD Wing. The ceremony was attended by Local MLA, 53 Changlang North Tesam Pongte, MLA 52-Changlang South Phosum Kimhun, Deputy Commissioner RK Mishra, SP JK Lego, Commandant CRPF M.Sahoo and other officials.
In his address, Taga lauded the efforts of the  Local MLA Tesam Pongte for providing much-needed infrastructures and judicious utilization of government funds for the right purpose while maintaining topmost quality. “The opening of these infrastructures would go a long way in catering to the needs of the  Public living in remote villages of the Circle,” Taga emphasised. He also assured that the Government would leave no stone unturned in ensuring further progress & development of the District.
