ITANAGAR, Dec 14:  Minister for Power Tamiyo Taga today held a meeting with all stakeholders on implementation of comprehensive schemes in Arunachal, where senior manager, Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) along with other representatives, CEs (Power), transmission, WEZ, EEZ, SE (transmission) and others were present. During the meeting the minister has asked the PGCIL authorities to take steps to implement the provisions of the MoU signed in letter and spirit immediately, as it was informed that the PGCIL is not taking any positive steps for taking the state government engineers from DoP on deputation as mandated in the MoU. It was resolved that the PGCIL would submit the details of a list of projects against which the forest and environmental clearance are yet to be obtained. The minister also expressed his displeasure at the snail pace progress of work.
