AALO, Jul 11: The monsoon has snapped communication link to West Siang District with the rest after Aalo-Pangin Road was blocked at 26th km near Pangin junction under Pkg-9 road formation has been washed out this morning. All out effort are being made to restore traffic movement and earthmover is being pressed into service to get an early clearance, disclosed Er. Gemar Padu ,AE Highway, who is monitoring the road condition for the district from Aalo to Pasighat.
Sources revealed that many minor landslides and vulnerable areas are also surfacing in the said   stretch of road due to continuous rain in the last few days. 
The Aalo-Likabali Road where highway works are being carried out is unconducive for travel due to landslides and accumulation of heavy mud along the road.
