TEZU, Jul 12:  In a delightful moment, the long felt demand of the people of Sunpura  area under Lohit district has been fulfilled as the Sunpura circle has been upgraded from CO to EAC circle . 

People of Sunpura have extended their gratitude to  local MLA cum Minister for Agriculture and DD, Dr Mohesh Chai and Chief Minister Pema Khandu for the positive development.

On his recent visit to Sunpura, Dr Chai had also claimed that the up-gradation of the Sunpura from CO to EAC circle is the need of the hour as the area is highly sensitive due to border dispute with Assam  and the circle is also flood prone . In such situation, EAC would play a vital role to deal with any looming crisis, stated the release
