NAMSAI, Apr  4:  In a noble gesture, All Namsai District Students Union has  contributed  local  rice of 5.5 quintals to the District Administrationto be used during the lockdown. Accepting the contribution, DC Namsai Bijoy Talukdar expressed gratitude to the student body and assured that the contribution will be judiciously used during the lockdown. This rice will be equally distributed to the daily wage earners and economically poor household, added the DC. Meanwhile, ANDSU appealed the public of Namsai to stay home and stay safe, and requested to maintain social distancing for the next coming days.
