WAKRO, Jan 22: The Apnes of the Apna Vidya Bhavan and students of KGBV, Wakro were introduced to Mixed Martial Arts by Sarvesh Chittoor, Black belt, One Dan of the MMA Federation of India today in Beena Ghose Roy Enclave. While he spoke briefly on the mixed martial arts, he also demonstrated kata display with Apne Baripso. Audience was thrilled to witness Sarvesh train his companion in such a short time of few minutes of instruction and practice.
Speaking on the occasion Col Venkat Baba of the Indian Army guided the students to always keep the flame alive and exhorted them never to give up hard work to achieve their goals in life. It's always in the last moments of our struggles that we surrender and give up and if we are persistent and carry on with patience and faith in ourselves we can achieve anything what we want to have in life, he said encouragingly. The officer also gifted items of daily use for the children and appreciated them for radiating happiness all around. He further added that being a simple and good human being is more important in life.
