PASIGHAT, Nov 4: The students’ community of Adi tribe from Payum circle under Siang District Saturday organized a Pre-Donggin festival celebration cum student meets here at Engo Takar Dere, Pasighat where Public leader, Er. Talem Taboh graced as Chief Guest while Nang Gao,  AdiSU President as Guest of honour.
After formal Taku-Tabat ceremony, the guests encouraged the students to take active role in uniting the students of Adi community of Payum circle and work for greater interest of the community. Senior member, Tabang Gaduk recalled the history when the general celebration of Donggin started during 1979 and 1980. 
Prem Yaying, President, organizing committee termed the celebration an attempt to promote and preserve culture and tradition.
