Governor chairs high-level security review meeting
ITANAGAR, Mar 26:The Nyishi Ethnic Students of Arunachal Pradesh which held its 1st conference on Mondayresolved to take up several social issues of the community in particular and state in general.
NESA President Biri Chatum in his address dwelt on various issues like education, infrastructure bottlenecks etc being faced by Nyishi brethrens especially living in border and remote areas and sought collective efforts from all stakeholders in solving the problems and issues.
General Secretary Tadar Janu stressed on preservation of art, culture, tradition, protection of local dialects including constant promotion of local festival celebrations.
Representatives of Papum Pare district raised the issue of proper Inner Line Permit checking, deplorable education scenario, development of educational infrastructure, strict implementation of RTE etc.
While District Unit President and General Secretary of Kurung Kumey, Kra Daadi, East Kameng, and Kamle spoke on key issues hampering development and appealed the parent body to guide them from time to time in solving it.
