PASIGHAT, Nov 1: People of Pasighat expressed their deepest condolences over the tragic demise of young and energetic student leader Baku Tamin who breathed his last on Wednesday night at a hospital in Dibrugarh, Assam following a brief illness.
Baku had joined All Bogong Students Union (ABSU) in 2013 as vice-president and since 2016 was leading the union as its president.
Baku’s last rites were performed at the “Onyok Moyong Ecological Park”, near main market, Pasighat today. AAPSU General Secretary Tobom Dai, ABSU General Secretary Sailendar Jamoh along with associate members, Pasighat Market Association,host of officers and leaders were also present. Business community closed their shutters as a mark of respect. 
Lok Sabha MP Ninong Ering, MLA Kaling Moyong, former minister Bosiram Siram and DC Tamiyo Tatak, and others expressed shock and  condolences over the sudden demise of the young leader. Baku’s legacy will continue to inspire many students for years to come, they stated.
