ITANAGAR, Jun 18: All Pakke-Kessang District Students' Union (APKDSU) has submitted a representation to the Director Medical Education, Training & Research seeking his intervention on change of venue in the recently announced recruitment of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife(ANM).
In its representation, the union appealed the department to initiate the recruitment process of ANM post under DMO Pakke Kessang at Lemmi, Pakke Kessang District itself instead of Seppa, East Kameng. The Pakke Kesang District with its district headquarters as Lemmi is functioning independently with full-fledged administration and District Medical Officer (DMO) is competent enough to conduct the recruitment of ANM at Pakke Kessang, stated the students organization.
The recruitment of ANM for Pakke Kessang district has been proposed at Seppa , the headquarters of East Kameng. However, it may create problem for the candidates and officials of Pakke Kessang District. Besides, weather conditions and the ongoing pandemic situation may create hindrances for the candidates from far-flung areas of the district to reach Seppa , reasoned APKDSU.
