CHANGLANG, Sep 13: The Changlang Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Directorate General Assam Rifles conducted a “Student Awareness Campaign” here at Higher Secondary School, Changlang.
The program was organized to dissipate awareness among the students about various opportunities in joining Indian Armed Forces including Assam Rifles, CRPF, BSF, SSB, CISF, etc. Students were informed about the eligible age category, class of entry, schedule of entrance exam and date of admission.
Moreover, students were also made aware of the preparation to join the Sainik School and Military School examination and imparted the importance of physical fitness & sports in student life.
More than 200 students and teaching staffers of the school participated in the event. DIPRO
