JULLY, Feb 17: The Him International School, Jullang organised a story telling session for spreading awareness of tradition, culture and history of tribes among the hostel students of the school.

Several eminent personalities attended and appreciated the story telling programme and interacted with the student community.

Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) women’s wing President, Maya Murtem attended the programme as chief guest and resource person.

She narrated a folk story in a very simple and interesting way, much to the delight of the students.

HIS Principal Dr. Maneesh Mangal also addressed the students highlighting the objective behind the initiative. Such activities shall help in promoting traditional and cultural values among the students, he opined.
