ITANAGAR, Jul 12:A team from All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) headed by its Vice President Dr. Tayuk Sonam met Secretary of the Department of Social Justice, Empowerment and Tribal Affairs, Gamli Padu and requested him for timely disbursement of the Pre & post matric scholarship of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.

During the meeting the team was informed that the process has been delayed due to technical problems but disbursement to beneficiaries will be completed before the end of July.

A total of 13000 applicants had been verified by the IT department for 2017 -18 session which was registered through online. And forms for the next academic year 2018-19 have been made available online and  can be obtained from National scholarship portal (NSP)of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.

Meanwhile, AAPSU has appealed students to be patient as they will be receiving their stipend very soon. The team also thanked the concern authority for their positive response.
