TEZU, Apr 16: Coming as a great relief to the state as a whole particularly the Health Department, Arunachal’s lone Covid-19 positive patient has again tested negative, the fourth time in a row.
As per the medical bulletin released by Zonal General Hospital Tezu, the 4th sample of the Covid-19 positive now under isolation and observation in the hospital, which was collected on April 15 last has tested negative. The bulletin also added that the said patient is asymptomatic, without fever and reports of the chest x-ray and routine blood test are also normal. The patient is doing well and will be released on Friday.
“We will release the patient from hospital and he will be kept in quarantine at Parsuram Kund. We have to discuss the matter with the Lohit District Administration about his discharge and proper escort will be needed to take him to the quarantine facility,” Medical Superintendent Dr C Tayang informed.
