PASIGHAT, Nov 11: As a motivation cum encouragement to the football team from Government Higher Secondary School, Bilat, East Siang District which is going to represent the state at the 64th School Game Federation of India, National Football Championship to be held at Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, the Dy. Director of School Education, Pasighat flagged off the state team on November 9 last. It is scheduled to kick off from November 15 next.
The team is led by Tasi Padung as Chief-de-Mission cum manager and Vijay Shankar Ray as team coach. Under the supervision of Tagin Tatan Principal GHSS Bilat and Tanya Padung District coordinator sports and youth services East Siang District, the 16 member team was provided proper coaching camp at Bilat, informed sources here.
Meanwhile, DDSE Yirang has wished the team a grand success and advised them to maintain sportsmanship spirit and display their best during the national event making the whole state proud.
