ITANAGAR, Jul 31: Arunachal Pradesh will host the 25th edition of the prestigious Senior Women’s National Football Championship at Pasighat from September 10-24 next that will see the participation of 30 teams representing States, UTs and Services.
This was informed today by the Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Football Association, Kipa Ajay in an interaction session with the players and team officials of the state squad organized by the association here at a private hotel. The squad will leave on Thursday for a 40-day preparation camp at Nari, Lower Siang district. Executive Members of the association reminded the players to maintain discipline on and off the field as they will be the ambassadors of the state.
Office bearers of APFA namely VP Likha Tapu, Director, Competitions John Neelam, Chairman, Disciplinary Committee Gebin Kato and State Coordinator Orin Lego attended the programme.
