ITANAGAR, Apr 21: Tuesday’s ‘Bulletin on Covid-19 for Arunachal Pradesh’ has said that after full cure and subsequent discharge of the state’s lone positive patient, the state is now free of Covid-19.
The bulletin has informed the state’s citizens that Government of India will be conducting a telephonic survey calling up citizens on their mobile phones across the country and it will be carried out by the NIC and these calls will be coming from the calling number-1921. Citizens have also been informed that it is a genuine survey and requested to enable proper feedback regarding prevalence and distribution of Covid-19 symptoms in the country.They have further been cautioned to remain aware of any other calls by pranksters or those attempting phishing from any other number in guise of such similar survey.
Meanwhile, as on Tuesday taking into account all the districts of Arunachal Pradesh, out of 454 samples collected, 392 have tested negative, 41 tested negative after repeat tests and 19 results are still awaited.
