Itanagar, Jul 1: The state office bearers of the National People’s Party (NPP) Arunachal Pradesh today conducted a detailed meeting here at capital to discuss post-election activities of the party under the chairmanship of State President Gicho Kabak.
Among the major issues that were discussed, anti-party activities resorted by many party workers during the recent simultaneous elections in state featured prominently. It was unanimously resolved to take serious action against those involved in anti-party activities against the official candidates of NPP during the election.
In order to streamline the NPP Youth and Student Front of NPP Arunachal Pradesh, the meeting decided to dissolve NPP Youth Front and Student Front and reconstitute them shortly. State President Gicho Kabak in his concluding remarks thanked the rank and file of state NPP for working hard to elect five MLAs and congratulated National President Conrad K Sangma for attaining the status of national party.
