ITANAGAR, Dec 9: A nine-member team of Arunachali mountaineers scaled the Mt. Eko Dumbing peak (13690 ft ) at Upper Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh.
The expedition was led by Everester Kishon Tekseng under the aegis of Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh under the mission “exploration of Arunachal Mountains.”
The maiden Mountaineering Expedition was flagged off Tamik Talom, ADC Yinkiong  on  Nov 26.
The six local mountaineers scaled the Eko Dumbing peak in Alpine style on December 4 at 4.20 pm after a gruelling climb  of more than 13 hours non-stop from Base camp.
