Tawang, Sep 20: The State Level Tritya Sopan Training & Testing Camp 2019 for Scouts and Guides was organized here at Yid Ga Choi Yzin from September 16 to 20.
25 Guides and 22 Scouts from various schools of Tawang and West Kameng districts were trained for Rajya Puraskar in this camp and there were 7 Guide Captains and 8 Scout Masters as trainers. During the camp, students were taken for exposure visit to various tourist and historical places of Tawang besides training on first aid, improvised rope stretcher making, other skills and character building, informed Leader of the Camp Tashi Neema. In the valedictory function today, ADC Tawang Lobsang Tsering graced the occasion as Chief Guest and paid homage to the founder of Scouts movement Lord Baden Powel besides congratulating the staff for successfully conducting the camp.
The students presented cultural programmes and demonstrations on stretcher making, techniques to give first aid during emergency and a skit on plastic pollution. DTO (BS&G) Tawang Yangdron Lhamu and others also spoke on the occasion. DIPRO
