ITANAGAR, Sept 10:  The 3rd State Level Paralympics Championship which is being organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Paralympics Association (APPA) in collaboration with Samagrah Shiksha (Integrated Schemes for School Education) kicked off today here at the Chimpu BN Ground.
Inaugurating the three-day event, MLA Chayangtajo, Hayeng Mangfi appreciated the members of APPA for organizing such event to encourage the differently abled persons. “We all are equal and we will all get equal opportunities to prove ourselves,” Mangfi said. Advising the members to participate in their respective sports events with full determination, Mangfi added that bigger platforms can be reached through  hard work and passion. Attending the event as Guest of Honour, State Project Director Samgrah Shiksa, N. Pingkham also encouraged the APPA members and students to participate in their interested sports events. “Never retreat but fight till you reach your goal,” said the  SPD, while assuring all possible help in coming days for APPA. Among others, President APPA Kongo Taku, General Secretary Rojot Gaduk also spoke on the occasion.

The three-day championship will culminate on September 13 next which will see the participation of APPA members including students from different districts of the state.
