ITANAGAR, Apr 10: The Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh will sponsor 30 candidates to pursue One Year Diploma Course in Civil Aviation as Air Hostess/Cabin Crew. A MoU was signed between Secretary Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Madhu K Garg, and CEO, NEIFT Guwahati, Vikram Rai Medhi, to this effect in presence of Director, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Subu Tabin and J Riba, Asst. Director.
North East Institute of Fashion Technology, Guwahati will impart one year residential diploma training in Aviation and a minimum of 70% of the trainees will be given job placement after the training. The entire cost of training including transportation and boarding/lodging will be provided by the government. The session of the course will start from first week of July next.
The State Government has launched a new scheme Chief Minister Yuva Kaushal Yojana in the recent Budget Session to provide high end training in various sectors to 1000 students in the Current Financial Year. Under this scheme Skill Development Training Centre (SDTC) will be set up in various districts and youth will be given skill development training inside as well as outside the state and country.
