ITANAGAR, Mar 8: Asserting that the 7-day “Chakka Bandh” being called by Siang District HQ Welfare Committee (SDHQWC) from March 15-22 next against delay in laying infrastructure in the newly created district headquarters at Pangin will hit normal life and result in economic loss to the state, the Abotani Clan Organization (ATCO) has requested the state government to immediately address the demands being placed by the organization for the welfare of common public of the area.
Also extending its full support to the organization’s demands, ATCO strongly appealed to the government to make proper planning before creating a new district to avoid any controversies and for peaceful coexistence among different tribes.
