ITANAGAR, May 6:    Standing true to his commitment, Chief Minister Pema Khandu has sanctioned creation of Class C Police Station at Thrizino in West Kameng district with adequate manpower to run the Police Station.

All total forty-nine posts have been created under the Police department to man Thrizino Police Station which includes three Sub-Inspectors, three Asst. Sub Inspectors, eleven Head Constables, three Head constables (T), twenty-eight constables and one constable driver.

Delighted over the news, Parliamentary Secretary PHE & WS who represents 6 Thrizino-Buragaon Assembly Constituency, Kumsi Sidisow has expressed sincere gratitude to the State Government under the leadership of CM Pema Khandu who so gifted the area with Police Station and Police personnel to man it in a very short span of his tenure.

It may be recalled that the people of Thrizino had submitted a memorandum to the State Government in the year 2009 demanding for a police station. This was again raised through a similar memorandum during the month of August -2016 when the CM had visited Bhalukpong en route to West Kameng and Tawang.

He said that this was a long pending demand which was rigorously taken up with the successive Governments but could only be materialised in the present incumbent’s tenure.
