ITANAGAR, Oct 22: Three women footballers, Nabam Kamyi, Roshni Ramching, Tamchi Yapi of Capital Complex FC  was signed by Pune based FC Kolhapur City for the ongoing Indian Women's League qualifiers.  These are the first batch of women players from the state to be signed up by any major professional clubs outside the state. FC Kolhapur City played 1-1 draw against Kenkre FC in its opening match of the qualifier. Nabam Kamyi started her campaign with an assist for her team.
" Our girls have been doing fantastically well for us and such results show that women football has gone many steps ahead from where it was few years back" said Kipa Ajay congratulating the girls on their achievement.
Kipa Takum and Kipa Bharat, Chairman and Head Coach of Capital Complex FC respectively also conveyed their best wishes to the girls.
“These exposures will help our girls to improve their game and prepare them to compete against the best in the country. It is a big mile stone for CCFC and for entire football fraternity of the state as a whole. We are very proud of them," said Takum in his message.
Next match of FC Kolhapur City will be played against Football Leader Academy on  November 24.
