ITANAGAR, May 7: The total pass percentage of the state in the recently announced CBSE Class X result was released today by the Director of Secondary Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
As per the report, there is a substantial improvement this year in the CBSE Class X result with 41.13 pass percentage when compared to 2018 when it was only 21 percent, marking an increase of 20.13 %.
This year at least 14267 students registered for the examination out of which 13748 appeared with 5655 students passing the examination.
Some schools like the Government Secondary School Lhou, Kitpi, Jang and Government Higher Secondary School Lumla under Tawang district have achieved a full 100 % pass percentage. Similarly, Government Secondary School Bagra in West Siang and Government Higher Secondary School Dambuk under Lower Dibang Valley have also secured 100 % success rates.
Poor results has been recorded from various schools with zero pass percentage like the Government Secondary School Mengio (Papum Pare), GSS-Deed (Lower Subansiri), GSS-Godak (Kamle), GSS-Darak & Nomuk (West Siang), GSS-Kebang (Siang), GSS-Jia (Lower Dibang Valley), GSS-Manhofai (Namsai) and GSS-Vijaynagar (Changlang).
The office of the Director of Secondary Education is yet to release the name of the state toppers.
