ITANAGAR, Mar 29: The results of the Arunachal Pradesh State Board Examination (APSBE) 2018-19 session was announced today with overall pass percentage of class V and VII at 72.04% and 67.43 respectively.
Of the 13237 students who appeared in class V, 9533 students cleared the board exams this year. While in class VIII, out of 16498 students who appeared, 11124 successfully cleared the examination.
In class V, Raj Tamang of Govt Upper Primary School, Horupahar, Lower Dibang Valley secured the highest pass percentage at 92.75%, followed by Swastika Nath, GUPS, Town, East Siang at 91.00% and Deep Thapa, of GUPS, Horupahar, Lower Diabang Valley at 88.75 percent respectively.
In class VII, Bandana Moran, GUPS, Kaupatani, Namsai secured the first position with a pass percentage of 91.4% while Paul Mongku of GSS, Riga, Siang and Ansu Nandi, GUPS, Town, East Siang secured second and third position with a pass percentage of 91.00% and 80.00% respectively.
The APSBE board exams was held from 12 to 23 February last in all government schools across the state. The students can access the result from their respective schools.
Meanwhile, the Department of Elementary Education has thanked all administrative officers, staffers and other officials for successful conduct of the board examinations this year. Education Department Release
