ITANAGAR, Sep 19: BJP Arunachal Pradesh has welcomed the women reservation bill “Nari Shakti Vandan  Adhiniyam” which was tabled in parliament today after a cabinet nod on Monday. 
Dominc Tadar, BJP Spokesperson said that the women reservation bill seeking to secure 33% seat reservation for women in parliament and state assembly is a historic step undertaken by Narendra Modi led BJP government to empower women in law making and running the administration in the state and the country. He hoped that the bill will definitely pass in parliament on Wednesday for the greater interest of the women of India.
State BJP Mahila Morcha celebrated with sweets at the BJP HQ Itanagar today. The programme was attended by Yelam Taga Burang State BJP Vice-President, Kohman K Ngemu State President Mahila Morcha, K. Ringu Member BJP Core group, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Kohman K Ngemu welcomed the bill and expressed happiness on behalf of the women of Arunachal Pradesh. She also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and team for the initiative and landmark decision for the empowerment of women.
