ITANAGAR, Sep 14: To commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17 next, state BJP will be observing the week-long 'Seva Saptah' or service week from September 14-20.
As a part of this celebration, blood donation & health camps, distribution of food items, sanitation & tree plantation drives etc and other social initiatives highlighting the feats of the central government under Modi's leadership will be conducted across the state, state BJP spokesperson, Dominic Tadar informed in a press conference. Party workers will conduct programmes to spread awareness among rural people about the various flagship schemes, he added.
BJP has been celebrating Modi's birthday every year since he became Prime Minister in 2014.
