ITANAGAR, Feb 11: State ruling party BJP today observed Samarpan Diwas at its headquarters remembering the founder of Jan Sangh Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya on his death anniversary. 
The programme started with flag hoisting by the State BJP president Tapir Gao in presence of Ministers, MLAs and party karyakartas followed by paying shraddhanjali to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya. 
Addressing the function Gao said that, the first responsibility is to take care of the family, as well as see that welfare and development of community and society is ensured.
Gao appealed all to shoulder responsibility for nation building and asked the party karyakartas to follow the ideology of Antyodaya and Manavaat Ekatma to uplift society.
