ITANAGAR, Jan 29: State level workshop cum training, Shakti Vandhan Mahila Swayam Sahayata Samuh and NGO Sampark Abhiyan was organized at BJP headquarters Itanagar today.
The programme was attended by Rekha Verma, National Vice-President BJPMM, Yalem Taga Burang State Vice-President cum convener of the programme, among others.
The National Vice-President BJMM said that Shakti Vandana programme is very important project for the party which it is organizing in the country on mission mode. The self help groups for self upliftment of women where government is giving loan and subsidy for various schemes and projects is a welcome step.  While highlighting on the Shakti vandhan mahila swayam sahayata samuh, she said that more than 1 crore self help groups  are working  for upliftment of the women in the country which needs to be connected.
She urged party leaders to invite VOs on shakti samvaad in the form of chai pe charcha with women specific NGOs.  Verma also highlighted on various activities and achievement of the state and central government under the leadership of Prime minister Narendra Modi at the centre and Chief Minister Pema khandu in the state.
