KHONSA, Aug 13: A stamp design painting competition was organized here today by the Department of Posts, Khonsa at the District Museum.
In his inaugural speech, Chowang Wangsa, Sub-Postmaster, Khonsa Post Office extended best wishes to all the young painters and appreciated their positive response. He also urged them to participate in such kind of competition in the near future.
He also thanked the Research Department, Khonsa for providing the space for the painting competition and making it a successful event.
More than a hundred students from various institutions participated.
The competition was divided into three categories for VI to VIII, IX to XII and the third category was open to all collegiate and non- students.
All the painting sheets will be sent to the Directorate of Postal Services, Itanagar and a panel of judges will pick the best three from all the three categories. DIPRO
