Yupia, Oct 29: District Task Force for Immunization (DFTI) Committee meeting on Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI 2.0) and IPPI in Papum Pare district was held today here at ZPC Conference Hall to discuss and review performance.
DRCHO Dr.Worar Taku gave a Power Point Presentation on the overall performance of IMI, IPPI and NDD in the district and informed that second round of NDD achievement was 94.60%. Informing the participants about the upcoming dates of IMI 2.0, Dr. Taku said that for effective implementation of IMI 2.0 focus must be on preparing good micro plans, holding of timely DFTI meetings, assessment of system gaps & taking corrective measures, quality head count survey, social mobilisation and implementation at all levels involving all line departments, SHGs, youth organisations etc. While pointing out the discrepancies reported by CHCs & PHCs, he requested all participants to take up corrective measures and upload accurate data.
Surveillance Medical Officer, Itanagar Unit NPSP, WHO Dr.Ushma Dharod briefed about the overview of DFTI Papum Pare. DD, ICDS Cell, WCD Department Aryoma Lowang assured full support and co-operation from their behalf. DSO (IDSP) Dr.R.R. Ronya called upon all MO In-charges from CHCs, PHCs and line departments to give their best efforts to achieve the 100% target in the district. Officers and staff of DRCHO also attended the meeting.
