Yupia, Feb 14: The District Task Force for Immunization (DTFI) meeting on Routine Immunisation (RI), Intensified Pulse Polio Immunisation (IPPI) and Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) was conducted today here at DC’s Conference Hall by District Health Society, Papum Pare.
Chairing the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Hq) emphasised on collective efforts from all stakeholders for effective implementation of all the ongoing health programmes besides timely updating of reports. Lauding the efforts of DHS Papum Pare, ADC also appealed the line departments to give their full support to the health department during NDD, IPPI, IMI and other related programmes in the district and assured every possible help from the District Administration. District Medical Officer Dr. Subu Tasso Kampu reiterated on putting concerted efforts to ensure that not a single child is left out of immunization along with updating of Micro Plan every six months. She congratulated all the MO In-charges and their subordinate staff for achieving 100 plus coverage in the just concluded IPPI and asked all to maintain the tempo of good performance in the coming days. She also asked the MO I/cs to conduct monthly review meetings and update data on timely basis.
Resource Persons DRCHO Papum Pare Dr Worar Taku, SMO, WHO Dr Ushma Dharod, Focal Person WHO Dr Victoria Sarungbam gave Power Point Presentations on various topics. Simultaneously, the DTFI meeting was followed by a District Level Workshop on National Iron Plus Initiative (NIPI) and Orientation-Cum-District Level Coordination Meeting on National De-Worming Day(1st Round) which is going to be launched on February 22 next.
