ITANAGAR, Nov 28: Addressing Commissioners and Secretaries of the State Government in a meeting relating to Staff Selection Board (SSB) on requisition of vacancies available in various departments, Chief Secretary Satya Gopal termed Staff Selection Board as a revolutionary change in the recruitment processes in the State which will transform governance in the State in the years to come.
CS Satya Gopal further said that the recruitment through SSB will fulfil the mandate of State Government which stands for complete transparency, merit, and equal opportunity.
He informed the house and reiterated that vacancies may be intimated within a week's time as SSB need to issue advertisement within the month of December as per the Government timelines and rest of the processes shall also continue thereafter.
Chairman SSB Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma informed that Requisition Form has been finalised and will be accordingly circulated to every department.
It was decided in the meeting that departments with Group ‘C’ vacancies should notify the SSB about the number of vacancies in the Requisition Form within a week’s time to start recruitment process at the earliest.
Secretary SSB Rahul Singh briefed the house on rules and objectives of the SSB. He further informed that 10 examination centres have been identified which will conduct examinations of Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board.
