PASIGHAT, Feb 22: Preparation is almost nearing completion for the ensuing “Mega Ali –Aye Ligang Festival 2018”, the three day celebration which will kickstart from February 24 at Bakkul, Mebo under East Siang District. Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy CM Chowna Mein along with Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will be joining the celebration.

 Meanwhile, local MLA, Mebo, LomboTayeng attending as chief guest in the programme today declared open the sports events as part of the ensuing celebration, which will include traditional sports like Boat race, Archery, Tug of War etc.

Chairman and Secretary, Sports & Water Sports Committee, Nada Apa District Sports Officer, Oni Tamuk were present at the inaugural.
