TEZU, Dec 17: The Tezu unit of Field Outreach Bureau organized one day outreach programme on nutrition under the banner “Poshan Abhiyan” at Anganwadi Centre, Panbari in Lohit district. The programme as usual started with a mass awareness rally comprising of women who were mostly lactating mothers, pregnant women and adolescent girls and general public. P Sonowal, HOO, Field Outreach Bureau, Tezu in his key note address elaborately explained the gathering about the motive of organizing the programme.

In order to motivate the people about nutrition and to create awareness, the unit also organized a Healthy Baby competition among four different age groups and winners were awarded with attractive prizes.
