ITANAGAR, Mar 27: Rajyogini Dadi Janki, the spiritual head of the Brahma Kumaris, passed away at the age of 104 at a hospital in Mount Abu today.  Her last rites was performed this afternoon at Shanti Van campus of Brahamkumaris headquarters.
President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Defence Minister,  Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister,  Pema Khandu including renowned personalities and celebrities took to Twitter to condole her demise.
"Rajyogini Dadi Janki Ji served society with diligence. She toiled to bring a positive difference in the lives of others," Modi tweeted.  The Prime Minister said her efforts towards empowering women were noteworthy.
Rajyogini Dadi Janki was born on January 1, 1916, in Hyderabad city located in Sindh province now in Pakistan. In 1970s, she moved to western countries to establish Indian philosophy, Raj Yoga and human values.
She had set up PBKIVV branches /Seva Kendras in 147 countries around the world. 
She was appointed the “Brand Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission)” by the government for her work in the field of maintaining cleanliness.
